Yann Martel: Life of Pi

Today we began a new project. It’s a book project and we were to choose between 6 books to read.

  1. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Ransom Riggs
  2. The book Thief, Markus Zusak
  3. Ender’s Game, Orson Scott
  4. Twice Toward Justice, Claudette Colvin
  5. The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins
  6. Life of Pi, Yann Martel

I chose Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I have no idea whether I like it or not, but it doesn’t matter. We were also supposed to get hold of the book ourselves, and since they aren’t to find in the School Library we were told to order them on Amazon.com for $9.57. when I have read the book I will write a review on it and let you know whether it was worth the $9.57 🙂

  1. I have not read the book but some of my friends have, they have said that it is extremely descriptive, contains some brilliant imagery and is very inspiring/thought provoking. However some parts of the book are quite monotonous, let me know if you enjoy the book! – Jack from Parklands
